My First Fat Quarter Frenzy
Speaking of, I have a few that I have pulled for that ever tedious, yet oh, so important task of binding. I know how to do it, but I don't and I have such a mental block about it. Is it because binding conjours up some negative imagery? Let's think a bit about this - a quilt that is unbound is still free. Well, not actually - the quilting already has pinned it down and then ocourse there are those nasty little safety pins. But the ends are still free. To gather dust, to fray, become a nutrious snack for some little critter in the basement? So I need to bind for the benefit of my precious quilts.
Sister's Choice - created to learn hand quilting - I learned it, just not with this block.
